A sum of approximately Rs. 50,00,000.00 (Rs. Fifty Lacs) is sanctioned every year as Governor's Discretionary Fund to provide financial assistance against the requests received from:-
- Poor and needy patients of the state to undergo major surgery, treatment etc.
- Poor families of the state for marriage of their daughters.
- Poor and needy people of the state for their livelihood.
- Deserving Non-Government organizations that are working for the welfare of the people in different aspects.
